Overview

The Senior Director of Business Intelligence Products will shape, direct and oversee the future of ERTs data (BI) products, including creation of new revenue streams, and shape the reporting (BI) strategy across all product lines.  

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Identify, develop and oversee the implementation of Business Intelligence products that build on existing BI offerings and create new revenue streams for the company.

                                                                                  

  1. Accountable to overarching strategy, P&L targets, and NPI (new product implementation) plans.

 

  1. Define, develop and drive the implementation of all reporting and business intelligence capabilities across all product lines. e. Standard/Free reports, Configurable reports, Portfolio Business Intelligence (custom reports and cross product reporting), and integrated 3rd party data.

                                                                                                                    

  1. Collaborate with all business functions and provide leadership by developing data-driven strategies and recommendations that help exceed business targets, including:
  • EVP of Corporate Development and R&D to ensure the ideation and effective development of new BI products
  • Product Line Executives and Product Management to ensure reporting strategy enhances their respective businesses.
  • EVP of Fulfillment and Operational Reporting leader to ensure operational reporting is on strategy and fully enabled.
  • Director of Trial Oversight Platforms to ensure business intelligence strategy integrates and enhances platform sales opportunities.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED: (Key wording should include if degree is needed, any travel requirements, special qualifications needed, skills, etc.)

 

  1. 15+ years of Product Management experience with emphasis on the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry.
  2. Data management experience highly desirable.
  3. Strong statistical foundation
  4. Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
  5. Ability to effectively lead a matrixed organization.
  6. Bachelor Degree required, MBA preferred.
  7. Boston location desirable, or significant travel will be required
